Job Summary
The On-Premise Market Manager is responsible for driving market-level execution, account engagement, and local activation strategies that strengthen brand presence, increase consumer connection, and support commercial growth objectives within the on-premise channel.
This role serves as the frontline owner of market relationships and execution by building partnerships across key accounts, identifying growth opportunities, executing impactful events and guest marketing initiatives, and capturing market intelligence that informs future strategies.
The position combines relationship management, event execution, and market analytics to ensure brands show up effectively in the moments and venues that matter most.

Key Responsibilities
On-Premise Market Ownership & Account Management (70%)
- Own and manage assigned market relationships across key on-premise accounts, trade partners, and stakeholders to drive brand visibility, consumer connection, and commercial growth
- Develop strategic account partnerships that support brand visibility, guest engagement, long-term brand preference, and growth opportunities across the assigned territory
- Execute guest marketing initiatives and local market programming aligned with national priorities, brand objectives, and consumer passions to drive awareness, trial, and velocity growth
- Identify opportunities to increase account penetration, strengthen customer relationships, and support market growth initiatives that drive per capita consumption and brand preference
Event Management & Activation Execution (20%)
- Lead execution of local experiential events, tastings, promotions, and consumer engagement activities that drive brand awareness, trial, and long-term consumer preference
- Manage event logistics including venue coordination, staffing, vendor management, product inventory, and on-site execution to ensure operational excellence and compliance with brand standards
- Serve as the market lead for guest experiences and activation opportunities that drive consumer awareness, brand engagement, and on-premise velocity growth
- Support local and national events, trade shows, and strategic market opportunities that strengthen brand presence and deepen trade relationships
Market Surveying & Insights (10%)
- Conduct market surveys and account evaluations to assess execution quality, competitive activity, consumer passions, and growth opportunities across the assigned territory
- Capture account observations and field intelligence to support business planning, local market strategy optimization, and long-term brand preference initiatives
- Maintain CRM reporting and provide timely updates on KPIs, market conditions, and activation performance to support leadership decision-making
- Utilize local market insights, consumer observations, and competitive intelligence to support strategic recommendations and drive continuous improvement in execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3–5+ years of experience in beverage, hospitality, field marketing, sales, or on-premise engagement
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities with experience engaging clients, distributors, and trade partners
- Experience executing events, activations, or consumer engagement programs in on-premise or field marketing environments
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with reporting tools and CRM platforms to track KPIs, market conditions, and activation performance
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned market territory; willingness to work evenings and weekends as business needs require
- Beverage alcohol, CPG, or HORECA industry experience preferred; exposure to guest marketing, market analytics, or consumer insight reporting is a plus

- Ability to create reports, recaps, and documentation
- Ability to lift and carry 40+ lbs and transport event materials
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Salary Range: $89,000 - $92,000 (CAD)
- Bonus Potential: 10%
