Job Summary
The On-Premise Market Manager is responsible for driving brand engagement, managing key trade partnerships, and leading program execution for Mother Brand (MB) within the on-premise channel. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across retail, trade advocacy, and education channels.
You will develop localized brand partnerships, execute guest marketing initiatives, and lead trade education and training programs, all while being measured against key performance indicators (KPIs). This role reports to the On-Premise Channel Lead.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic sales and marketing professional who is passionate about supporting the local trade community, building meaningful relationships, and bringing a premium non-alcoholic beverage portfolio to life through engaging and creative activations.
Key Responsibilities
Localized Brand Partnerships & Programming (10%)
- Establish and manage strategic local partnerships to enhance brand positioning
- Collaborate with local market stakeholders to drive visibility and engagement
Earned & Influencer Marketing (10%)
- Partner with influencers and trade professionals to build brand advocacy
- Execute influencer campaigns in collaboration with internal Brand Edge teams
Trade Advocacy, Education & Training (25%)
- Lead MB trade education programs, including Train-the-Trainer and Topo Academy
- Serve as a subject matter expert for trade advocacy initiatives
- Support field coaching, training, and trade engagement efforts
- Execute programs supporting brand and spirits partnerships
Account Management & Guest Marketing Activation (50%)
- Build and manage relationships with key on-premise accounts
- Lead guest marketing execution aligned with brand standards
- Plan, activate, and oversee all marketing initiatives across accounts
Communication, Reporting & Administration (5%)
- Track and report KPIs using CRM and reporting tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on strategy and execution
- Manage budgets, expenses, and program communications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of beverage sales and marketing experience (adult beverage preferred)
- Strong networking, sales, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Strong business acumen, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation development
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and leverage resources effectively
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Must reside in the designated market and be able to travel locally and up to 40% out-of-market
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and in presentations
- Ability to observe and assess customer, partner, and team interactions
- Ability to create reports, recaps, and documentation
- Ability to lift and carry 40+ lbs and transport event materials
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
- Bonus Potential: 10%
- Auto Allowance: $600 per month
- Communication Allowance: $150 per month
