Job Summary
The Field Sales Representative (FSR) is responsible for driving brand presence and sales within retail accounts by ensuring products are properly stocked, displayed, and promoted. This role focuses on building strong relationships with store-level decision makers, executing merchandising standards, and increasing brand visibility across large stores, small stores, and national chains.
You’ll also lead in-store sampling activations to generate consumer engagement and drive incremental sales. As the face of Green House in the field, you will work closely with your Program Manager and retail partners to ensure program goals are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Merchandising (80%)
- Build and maintain relationships with store decision makers and distribution partners
- Ensure products are stocked, properly placed, and merchandised according to program standards
- Execute displays, signage, and point-of-sale (POS) materials to maximize visibility
- Manage product rotation to maintain freshness and quality
- Service a daily route of approximately 14 accounts (may vary by market)
- Identify opportunities to increase shelf space, displays, and overall brand presence
- Drive sales while managing within budget guidelines
Sampling & Brand Activation (15%)
- Plan and execute in-store sampling events to increase awareness and sales
- Secure additional displays tied to sampling activations
- Represent the brand and Green House professionally as a brand ambassador
Reporting & Administrative (5%)
- Track daily activity and KPIs using CRM tools (e.g., REPSLY)
- Provide regular updates and feedback from store visits
- Attend team meetings and communicate with Program Manager and stakeholders
- Submit expense reports and required documentation on time
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (must pass MVR check)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based role (95% in-market)
- Must reside in the assigned market with strong local knowledge
- Prior sales experience required; CPG or beverage industry experience preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with basic computer tools (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
Compensation
- Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
- Bonus potential: 10%
- Auto allowance: $600 monthly
- Communication allowance: $150 monthly
