Job Summary:

We are looking for a Program Manager – Retail Sales who is passionate about driving sales growth, building brand visibility, and strategically developing retail execution strategies. What You’ll Do:

As the Retail Sales Program Manager, you'll take charge of sales initiatives in assigned territories, working closely with national, regional, and local stakeholders. Your goal will be to ensure effective retail execution and align strategies with client commitments. You will have a balanced role, with 80% of your time focused on Human Capital Management and 20% in-field support, collaborating with teams to deliver sales success and drive distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Capital Management (80%)

  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of field teams to execute retail strategies.
  • Set KPI goals and oversee performance tracking, team evaluations, and budget planning.
  • Foster a cohesive team culture that aligns with brand priorities and client expectations.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, revise KPIs, and ensure compliance with standards in contracts.

In-Field Support (20%)

  • Offer direct support to field sales teams and meet with key stakeholders (distributors, wholesalers) to ensure program success.
  • Develop retail strategies tailored to market opportunities and ensure brand representation in the field.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on execution plans and adjust KPIs based on field insights.
  • Constantly evaluate and improve field programs based on performance tracking.
  • Provide detailed program insights and share field reports regularly with internal teams and stakeholders.

Success Metrics:

  • Successful hiring, onboarding, and training of top talent.
  • Achievement of clear KPI goals and sales growth targets.
  • Effective budget oversight and resource allocation.
  • Strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience: 7+ years of sales experience with budget accountability, preferably in the retail beverage/CPG sector.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate teams.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Work Style: Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 20% and work weekends as needed.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 annually 
  • Bonus Opportunity: 10% annually
  • Communication Allowance: $150 monthly
  • Wellness Benefit: $50 monthly
