Job Summary

Green House is seeking a high-performing Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive brand growth and retail execution for a premium sparkling beverage brand. This role is responsible for accelerating velocity, expanding distribution, strengthening key retail partnerships, and driving best-in-class in-market execution.

*The anticipated start date for this position is April 1, 2026. This is a project-based role expected to run through December 31, 2026, with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Local & Key Account Execution (60%)

  • Focus on large-format retailers (Kroger, Walmart, Publix, HEB, Albertsons, etc.)

  • Drive brand velocity to exceed Rest of Market by 200% across ~65 key accounts per market

  • Secure new Points of Distribution (PODs) and expand cold-space merchandising

  • Increase brand facings and shelf presence versus competitive set

  • Execute merchandising standards including display builds, POS placement, and coupon activation

  • Partner with client teams to implement retailer incentive programs

Account Relationship Management (20%)

  • Develop and execute localized sales strategies alongside distributor and brand teams

  • Build strong retailer relationships and respond proactively to account needs

  • Monitor inventory and proactively prevent out-of-stocks

  • Deliver tailored solutions to drive sell-through and operational excellence

Distributor Engagement (10%)

  • Manage wholesaler/distributor incentive programming

  • Participate in General Sales Meetings (GSMs)

  • Conduct ride-alongs, market visits, and spot appointments

  • Establish consistent communication cadence with distributor stakeholders

Communication & Reporting (10%)

  • Track performance against sales objectives

  • Submit timely and complete reporting

  • Utilize Repsly CRM for real-time KPI tracking

  • Conduct ongoing SWOT analysis and provide strategic recommendations

  • Gather and synthesize retailer insights for brand team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of CPG/beverage sales experience within off-premise channels required

  • Large-format retail experience strongly preferred

  • Distributor management experience required

  • Proven track record of increasing distribution and velocity

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • High business acumen and comfort with Microsoft Office & Google Suite

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout designated market

  • Willingness to work early mornings and occasional weekends

Compensation

  • Salary: $60,000 - $65,000.00 annually

  • Bonus: 10% annual opportunity

  • Auto Allowance: $500/month

  • Communication Allowance: $75/month
